Congratulations to the 16th Annual NVWWS winning team the DMBs! The DMBs: Matt Colwell, Alec Dolton, Riley Cummins and Lukas Ronkin were the Minor League Champs who reached the finals to battle the Major League Champs (Bronx Bombers). They beat the Bronx Bombers 1-0 in the championship game. Their team manager was Daniel Martinez. The Bronx Bomber line-up consisted of: Dan Greening, Brian Greening, Porter Shomo and Ian Wood. The MVP award went to Alec Dolton and the Rollie Fingers award for best pitcher went to Riley Cummins. The Babe Ruth best hitter award went to Henry Brandmark of Fast Plastic. Congratulations to everyone!

DMBs Tournament Highlights: Matt Colwell, Alec Dolton and Riley Cummins all pitched scoreless, shutout innings, along with 2 strikeouts a piece. Lukas Ronkin hit a leadoff triple in the bottom of the 2nd inning and then the next at bat Riley Cummins hit a double to score the first and only run of the game. Riley Cummins then struck out 2 batters in the top of the 3rd to seal the victory for the DMBs.

2YF has sponsored the Wiffle® World Series for the past seven years, and with remarkable generosity and outstanding support it has contributed almost $300,000 in support of its cause. The 2 Young Foundation is sincerely thankful that so many were in attendance for this year’s tournament, and equally delighted with the large number of teams and sponsors that contributed to the success of the fundraiser. Thanks to all, 2YF will be able to donate over $25,000 toward furthering the effort to find a cure for brain cancer.
